The MZ 02 90F A L light notcher has been designed for the light processing of CLT cross laminated timber. Roundings on inside corners are milled outthat remain after milling a cut-out.
- Removing the rounding of an inside corner except for a bottom or fold in the Workpiece
- Immersion in cut-outs from approx. 250 mm x 250 mm, with fixed cable also approx. 200 mm x 200 mm, immersion from approx. 400 mm x 400 mm,
- Up to 290 mm depth as standard
- Easy to work with due to greatly reduced weight, from over 13 kg for the Large notchers to just under 4 kg now!
The customer of the cross laminated timber receives a higher quality workpiece.
The MZ 02 90F A L lightweight notcher is a new power tool for processing cross laminated timber, also known as CLT or solid laminated timber. Roundings on inside corners are removed. These were previously left behind when milling a cut-out.
The rounding in an inside corner can be removed down to a floor.
When milling a cut-out in cross laminated timber, the cut-out part remains in the workpiece. The workpiece must be removed from the machine to remove it. Subsequent repositioning is therefore necessary. This is laborious and time-consuming.
The MZ 02 90F A L lightweight notcher eliminates the need for repositioning with milling accuracy. While the roundings in the inside corners of the first workpiece are being removed, a second workpiece can already be processed on the milling machine.
The processing is taken off the customer's hands, which is becoming increasingly popular as a general trend.
