Field of application

The KF 400 TOP edge router for glue bead removal is used in staircase construction.
When the scantlings are glued and pressed, glue emerges from the surface on both sides. Once it has solidified, it turns into prongs and beads.
In the next step, the raw steps are sanded and the sanding belt is quickly worn down by the serrations.
The groove cutter on the KF 400 TOP edge router is used to cut and mill off the glue lines and glue beads. This makes the sanding belt last much longer.
