Precise notching without a CNC milling machine

Dear carpenters and joiners in trade and industry,

We have good news: precise notching without a CNC router is now possible. Tedious manual work with a file, chisel or jigsaw when notching internal corners is now a thing of the past! With our MZ 02 90F A notcher, you can remove the rounding in corners quickly and precisely, saving valuable time in the process.

Mobile, quick and flexible to use

What the notcher can do:

  • Easy to operate
  • Notching of radius internal corners, for example on worktops
  • For incisions and cut-outs
  • Precise, tactile milling on the workpiece

Tactile milling

Thanks to the scanning milling movement of the manually guided notching unit, a high level of accuracy is achieved during corner processing. As the workpiece is protected during this process, no chipping can occur on the surface layers of the panel. The notching unit MZ 02 90F A is set to an accuracy of hundredths of a millimetre.

Even with a CNC woodworking machine, this accuracy is very difficult to achieve. With our notcher, you can rely on the consistently high quality of your products and save time. This is how notching works without a CNC router.

Save time and costs

Our MZ 02 90F A notcher is ideal for processing internal corners on panel-shaped materials made of wood or plastic. This not only saves you time, but also costs, as the risk of rejects is significantly reduced.

The notcher has been used successfully in trade and industry for more than 12 years. It is carefully manufactured by us in customised production and delivered ready for use with a diamond cutter.

The notcher for milling in the corner: the principle
Manual notching with angle unit, here using the example of a kitchen worktop at an industrial kitchen manufacturer
The notcher in use, here during worktop production
The upper part shows the inside corner before notching. The rounding is created by the rotating milling cutter of the CNC machining centre. The lower part shows the inside corner after processing with the manual notcher MZ 02 90F A without CNC.
Before: The workpiece has the radius from CNC milling in the inside corner -
After: The radius on the inside corner is removed in a single work step.
The manual notching unit is constructed from durable components.
The components
The stop housing of the pointing unit is positioned on two sides in the inside corner.
Before notching, the workpiece has a radius on the inside corner. - After notching with the corner former, the radius is cleanly removed.
Start position of the angle unit by hand. The stop housing of the notcher MZ 02 90F A is attached to the inside corner on both sides.
Work sequence: 1. place the stop housing in the inside corner, 2. pull the start lever: The motor rotates and the cylinder is retracted, 3. continuously advance the rotating milling cutter through the plate, 4. release the start lever and push the motor back to the starting position
The depth stop can be used to precisely determine the plunge depth of the pointing unit during milling.
The depth stop is set so that the panel is milled from the first side. - After turning the panel, the fence is pushed back and routing is completed from the second side.
The upper workpiece shows the rounding before notching. The lower workpiece shows the inside corner after machining with the MZ 02 90F A end mill.
Maximum inner radii: Workpiece thickness 16mm/maximum inner radius 8mm - Workpiece thickness 18mm/maximum inner radius 10mm - From workpiece thickness 19mm/maximum inner radius 12.5 mm
The stroke of the notcher MZ 02 90F A is up to 60 mm on one side. Manual notching with angle unit.
